During a recent taping of the Steve Harvey Show, the founder and executive of Frisco Symphony Orchestras, Endrell Dawson, was chosen to be given a full scholarship for Strayer University. She was welcomed in the show to talk about her nonprofit musical education for children in Frisco. She was not able to finish her college degree when she became a single mother after high school.

At the age of nine, Dawson began playing violin by ear and her progress was outstanding. With the help of Suzuki method, she then became a performer.

The $10,000 worth scholarship will help Dawson complete her education.
